July 31st update on Kaylee

Hello Everyone,

We had a doctors appointment this week and Kaylee has not been able to gain wieght since leaving the hospital. The doctor has suggested we increase her feeding to 85ml/hour. Each day we are increasing the amount by one and she is currently at 79ml.

Pray that Kaylee will begin putting on weight and that she can begin drinking small amounts of clear liquids.

I think they are at camp this week. They were able to reserve a separate cabin just for Kaylee, Ryan and David & Brenda for the camp. That way Kaylee can still be involved in most of the activities and Brenda can help keep her well. Please pray that Kaylee has a really good time and that this will help her get over the embarrassment of having the feeding tube. Maybe this will help her be ready to head to school with it.
