These pictures were just too funny not to share. Hope they make you laugh like they did for me.

Everyone to their own corners.
There's my Happy Boy.

Trying for Pictures

December Updates
Just thought I'd write a post and add some pictures from December. It was a good month. Not as crazy as last year. We took turns being sick, so that slowed us down some. Plus online Christmas shopping rocks! I love it!
We added a dog to our family of five, so now we are six. Rebekah pointed out that we now have three girls and three boys. We're even! Her name is Reynah (ray-nuh) Nutmeg Hasse. We got her when she was 12 weeks old. She is a pure-bred Brittany and is a beautiful little girl. She is a bird hunting dog and great with the kids. Her favorite place, along with the rest of us, is the ranch. She can run free without a leash and chase all the birds she wants. We're all taking dog training lessons and that is helping out tremendously! How come they don't have classes like this for training children?! :-) They both need to know the same commands: come, sit, stay, leave it, take it, bed and so on. Ha! Ha!
Elijah finished out his first semester of Kindergarten. He was absent all but two days the last week due to fever. He has loved school and may even have a little crush on his teacher. But we're ok with that, she's great! I was thankful to hear him say the other day that he's too young to have a girl friend. Then he followed up with "Maybe when I'm in 5th grade." Aaaahhh! That's too young, too!
Rebekah had her first dance performance two weekends before Christmas. She and her class did a little Teddy Bear Dance while wearing matching pajamas in Downtown Round Rock. The performance and fair almost got rained out, but it all worked out just fine. Grandma & Grandpa even brought her roses! Wow! Afterwards we and the Grandparents enjoyed the rest of the fair. Free balloons, hot chocolate, Ginger Bread Man decorating, and other goodies. Fun! Rebekah loves ballet and especially her teacher, Ms. Michelle.

Micah is chugging right along doing all that he should...and shouldn't. His words are Mama, Daddy, hmm-ma for Grandma, goag for dog, ekah for Rebekah, and some others we can't quite figure out yet. Oh, and of course, "Uh-oh!" He is such a sweet and snuggly little boy. So much fun. And my favorite thing he has mastered lately... bed time. Here are some pictures of us putting together my Christmas gift cabinet. Micah was in the middle of things...
Jim and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary on Jan 2nd. Well, if you can call it a celebration. The kids were all sick, and I was coming down with it also, so we couldn't get a babysitter and I wasn't up for going anywhere. So, we'll celebrate another time. We're still trying to come up with something special to do for our 10-year anniversary. Any ideas?
Well, that's it for our quick recap. Blessings to you all in 2008!

Much Better!
We are so very thankful that Rebekah is doing much better and the rest of us only have occasional sniffles. Thank you for your prayers. They have made all the difference!
Over the past several days, we've completed several projects around the house.
1. I have de-Christmased the house. Sad, but it must be done.
2. Jim floored some of our attic space to store the Christmas stuff. Yea!
3. We assembled a huge bookshelf that was one of my Christmas gifts.
4. We converted a bookshelf into a Barbie House for Rebekah. I think I had more fun than she did.
5. I wrote down some goals for our family for this next year.
So, overall, pretty good. Well, except for the piles of laundry and dishes that got neglected. They hardly ever get special attention anyways. :-)
