The last week in July was our children's VBS at Dayspring. Our study was called "Faith Expedition." It's was a good week. At Dayspring, our VBS only lasts 3 days. We, the teachers, can only handle three days. More than that and we'd all be crazy exhausted. One good thing about the 8 hours in ER was that I had plenty of time to prepare for the lessons. This year I taught the 5-6 year olds, the Pathfinders. We have a great group of kids and I've enjoyed every minute with them. I'm not always able to say that about groups of kids, but I'm being honest. I've not experienced a negative moment with them. As I look back, I amazed to see how the Lord worked through me. I was hesitant to teach, I usually prefer a support role. But I've really enjoyed it and have been amazed at how the Lord has made the words just flow during lesson time. I am so grateful! Here are a few pictures of our group...

our crew at music time. They loved all the different instruments. At times it brought tears to my eyes to hear their little voices singing praise to God while they tap their little drums, cymbals, wood sticks, etc. Out of the mouths of children and tiny nursing babes, God has ordained His praise. (Not sure of the scripture reference, but it's in one of our songs.)
The guys. There were only four boys in our class. They handled it well. :-)
