Trip to Ohio

Jim and I traveled to Ohio this past week for a business trip. The business conference was very helpful for us, but the highlight was seeing some old friends of ours.
Jim and Chris were roomates in college, and Audrey and I worked together after college. We were close friends while they lived in Texas, then about three years ago they moved to Ohio. We have been sad they were so far away because we seem to be so like-minded. It's not every day you find friends like these!
Here are some pictures from our visit. They have four kids, but dear little Peter-pie had already headed to bed before we started our photo shoot.






Jim and I had so much fun playing with the kids. We were missing our own kids tremendously, so we had fun loving on the Stanfield kiddos--well, if you consider a pillow fight "loving on". This picture doesn't come close to depicting just how sweet they each were.


Chris and Audrey, thank you so much for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were sad to leave. It was such a blessing to spend time with you guys.
