Six Random Things

So, I was tagged by my friend Kimberly and now I'm it. I am supposed to tell you six random things about me, so here goes...
1. I love cold weather. Each year I can't wait for the first cold front to come in so I can pull out my sweaters and fuzzy socks!
2. I like the idea of a clean house, but have a VERY difficult time making my house be that way, or at least stay that way. --Even with FlyLady's help!
3. I think God made the sky blue so that mankind wouldn't be even more aggressive than they already are. Imagine what road rage would be like if the sky was red! Yikes!
4. My favorite places to shop are Hobby Lobby and Goodwill. I've found my absolute most favorite outfits at Goodwill!
5. Jim and I are Calvinists. Meaning that we believe in the total Sovereignty of God in all things.
6. I have a dog. I'm not too fond of dogs, but my husband is. She chews up anything that comes out the back door. And sometimes, when she's running from the front door to the back door and out to the yard, she will slyly pick up a toy or a shoe or whatever she can and run out as fast as she can. Once she's in her "zone" the item is then devoured, shredded, and then the kids tears flow. Sometimes mine, too. So, do I enjoy having a dog...most of the time the answer is no. But when Jim is away from home, then the answer is yes. And when we're at the ranch, yes. But when I'm picking cactus needles out of her skin, or consoling the crying child who just had Raynah jump up on them, or friends hesitate to play in the back yard... then I'm not to happy that we have a dog.
