OK. So, I gave in and joined NetFlix, just a trial version... (hmmm, I'll bet we'll continue for at least a couple of months!) We had recorded a movie on our DVR and didn't get the last 30 minutes or so. Ugh! It was an older movie, so it wasn't available at RedBox, our usual movie rental "store." We're cheap. I didn't want to pay the $3.00 bucks or so I'd pay at Blockbuster to get an older movie, so I checked out NetFlix and of course, they have a two week free trial.
So, I rented my movie and finished the last 30 minutes of it. Now what... well I discovered they have free unlimited online movies. Oh no! This is bad news for my husband. Poor Jim. Every free minute I had I was watching old movies I can't get at RedBox. Plus, I found some great Christian kids movies. We watched a great cartoon retelling of the Jim Elliott story. They have some Veggie Tales movies we haven't seen, and The 12 Dancing Princesses that Rebekah has wanted to see, oh and so much more. I have Facing the Giants & Amazing Grace in our queue and some other goodies. Any recommendations? Jim won't let me stay signed up for long, so tell me quick!

Hmmm, old movies. Have you seen Bringing up Baby, North by Northwest, Topper, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Summer Magic, Tammy and the Doctor, What's Up Doc? to start with. My Mom also showed me The Ultimate Gift which may not be Christian exactly but it has a good message. There's a start:)! Too bad we can't put the kids to bed and watch some together.
