Happy Birthday, Jim!

Jim turned 33 on July 6th this year. Wow! We're getting close to 35, which my mom informed me is the "perfect" age. She says you finally feel mature enough to be where you are in life when you're 35. So, I'm kind-of looking forward to 35, 'cause I still feel like a kid.

We spent the 4th of July at the Lakehouse with my parents, my brother and his family, and my sister-in-law's father's family and her sister. For those who know Gwen, she was there with her new husband and... they're expecting a baby in mid-December! It was a full house full of great times. The kids all got along great, which is always a bonus. We had fun sailing, tubing, fishing, playing games, talking, and of course cooking and eating. We always have so much fun together, even with extended family.
Jim's diet is limited, so I couldn't make him a fancy cake like I do for the kids. We had cheesecake with almond slivers and chocolate chips. Quite yummy!

We continued celebrating when we came back to Austin. We had Jim's parents over for dinner and more cheesecake. Ha!

Micah liked Jim's card so much that Jim didn't get to read it for a few minutes. He kept walking from Grandpa to Grandma saying "Ook, Ook (Look)."

Jim's parents gave him a weapon he's been wanting for quite some time for when we're out walking out at the ranch. We think that soon wild hogs will make their way onto the ranch. Yikes!

NO WAY!!!! Gwen is married with a baby on the way????!!!! AHHH!! I feel like screaming! I'm all giddy! I am SO stinking happy for her and it just makes me praise God hearing how He can make something beautiful out of something that was so broken and full of pain!

And is that Kaylee Winter Bundrick in that one picture with the glasses? Could she possibly be that old? No WAY!!!! I have pictures of her...from last year I think and she was only an infant. Surely it can't be!!!

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jim!!!

Miss you guys and dying for a visit!
Love you!
