Well, you know you've out if off too long when some of your dandelions are taller than your 2 year old! Ha!

Do you guys do weed and feed in February or March? It really works on that yucky crabgrass but only partially on dandelions. Just a thought.

In my defense I did do weed and feed twice last month and the weeds in the front are pretty much gone :).The back is another story...

Mike uses weed and feed 3 times a year or so but, certain weeds just do not seem to be affected by it. I was calling them crab grass but, they were much bigger than the one in the picture Lori posted. They grow just like that but, they are huge platters that appear flat and greyish in the middle. I have even tried to kill them with the spray on weed killer that kills everything. So, I finally dug them up on Saturday. I spent all day doing it. I made 7 round holes in my yard, up to 18" in diameter! I dug matching holes from good St. Augustine to fill them up. I need to dig up that section of lawn anyway for a raised planter. Cheryl
