Rebekah's birthday party with all of her friends was on Saturday, March 31st. We had a little girl dress up tea party. All of the girls were so very cute dressed up in their fancy clothes, jewelry, hats & gloves. Jim's mom, Judy, loaned us her real demitasse cups and saucers. When the girls sat down at the table with the read china, sugar cubes, and creamer they were perfect little ladies. I think they all realized how special it was to use the "real thing" and were extra careful. They all sipped their tea and nibbled on goodies. I think the moms were all a little nervous, but everything worked out just fine. Rebekah had soooo much fun with all of her little friends and still talks about it. I left the dining room set up with the little tea tables for a couple of days and we had tea and cake three days in a row! One day I even put on a pink Bridesmaid's dress I still have and dressed up like a "princess." I came out of my bedroom and Elijah said the sweetest thing. "Mommy, I didn't know you were ever a princess!" Well, as you can tell, I don't donn my fancy duds day to day doing house chores. But it was fun to pull out something fancy for a breakfast tea with my little ones!

Too cute! Glad you're back (at least posting:) ). Have a Happy Easter!
love,
Kat
Is that bridesmaid's dress from my wedding? You did look great in that dress! I will be so impressed if that's the one and you still fit in it after all these years!
Aren't little girls fun? Tea parties, dress-up, dainty things! I love it!!
Tamra, that was the dress from your wedding. It fit, but it definitely fit differently than it did back then! I must say that the big full skirt and big bow made for a perfect princess dress. Plus it's PINK!
