Strep Throat, School & An Adoption

I woke up this morning around 3am and my throat was hurting. So, I got up, gargled salt water, took Ibuprofen for an accompanying headache and tried to go back to sleep. Jim kissed me goodbye around 7:40am and I was out again until 10am! Somewhere in there I nursed Micah, I'm not sure when, but he was in bed with me when I woke up. I guess mommy was in survival mode this morning. So, I went to see the Dr. this afternoon and he gave me a prescription. He says I should be feeling better soon.
Rebekah was sick this past weekend but Jim was here to help out, so that was good. It seems that our crew is passing around all sorts of sickness right now! Don't come over for a visit.
Last night we went to the Round Rock Christian Academy Open House. We're trying to make a decision regarding Elijah's schooling that will start in August this year. Our public school gets great ratings and the principal attends a Christian church. That's encouraging. But, the hours at public school are so very long. I have a hard time imagining being away from Elijah so long. You know? We're looking at our private school options and are also considering Home Schooling. At this point, with my PPD, I'm a little hesitant to commit to homeschooling right now. So, we'll continue to look at the options and pray over them and see what the Lord gives us a peace about.
Oh, one more bit of news... My Uncle Bill adopted Chase and Julia Grace today. They are now officially Bundricks! Yea! Welcome to the family! Thank you all for your prayers for them. The Lord has been so gracious to them through this entire process and hopefully now they can move on in peace. Please pray for them as the Lord brings them to your mind.
